Went back here while visiting Kankakee. It was as good as it was 15 years ago. I think of "The Mess" all the time.
Really cute cafe in downtown Bradley. Attentive and friendly service. Coffee was good and breakfast choices were diverse and unique. I ordered country fried chicken w eggs and toast and country gravy. It was delicious and made fresh to order.

OMG! Where should I begin. I eat breakfast there, so, this is my review of my morning experience. There food is to you quickly. It's hot & you get alot for a reasonable price. The atmosphere is home, & I highly recommend it.
